Where are all the foods posts? Where are the updates? Did H&S fall off the world again?
Well, sort of.
I created this blog to keep tabs on any improvements we made on the house. Its other purpose was to share any recipes we develop or find that we deem pretty damn tasty that are also Paleo-friendly (or mostly Paleo-friendly).
The blog also was an outlet for me. It still is. But, it was created during a time when I was in a mind-and-soul-numbing job, and I needed a way to stay sane that wasn’t the gym because I have recently-admitted creative tendencies that need to be pursued.

The furniture we ordered back in November for New Year’s Eve came in today. We had hoped it would be here for New Year’s Eve, but it seemed that there were so many orders for the same sofa that they ran out of it and had to make it to order.
Nonetheless, the pieces are here, and they are worth it. Carl and I have a nice room to enjoy books when we start indulging in our passion for reading. Well, my passion for reading. Somewhere along the way, I got Carl into it as well. Read more
